What to Consider with Window Graphics

It’s been said that windows are your store’s billboard to the world. Without question, they are the first things shoppers see when they walk or drive by your store. With a well-designed graphics program, windows can live up to their promise of bringing customers into the store and driving sales. The challenge is that you have about three seconds to convey your message to shoppers.

As you create or refresh your visual merchandising strategy, here are some ideas to keep your windows looking as fresh and up-to-date as possible:

  • Keep consumers’ interest with displays that are easily changed. The key to maintaining customer interest is to continually change up window displays. In today’s era of pop up stores, using semi-permanent window installations is timely and on point. That means having signage and hardware that’s flexible and easy for store associates to change.
  •  Create drama with lighting and largescale visuals. Light boxes are a great way to capture the attention of both pedestrians and customers who may be driving by your window displays.
  •  Make window displays more interactive. Digital displays are dynamic and customers are intrigued by these new and innovative approaches to retail windows. Adding QR codes to displays can increase the level of interactivity and give customers an extra incentive to come into the store.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, however, when it comes to creating a compelling window display program. Other concerns include the amount of available space for graphics, varying ceiling heights, and thermal issues that can affect signwareTM. Want to learn more?
