Better Together: How Collaboration Defined Our Booth at Shop! Marketplace 2026

At Shop! Marketplace 2026 in New Orleans, one thing became immediately clear: retail innovation thrives through collaborative retail design.

This year’s show exceeded our expectations in every way. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to connect with attendees who were drawn to a space built around creativity, engagement, and teamwork. More than just an exhibit, the booth became an immersive environment that reflected how brands and partners can work together to create thoughtful and meaningful customer experiences.

A Immersive Retail Booth Experience

The foundation of our booth design centered around the idea that great retail environments are built through collaboration, two heads are better than one — in this case, five. Every partner brought a unique strength to the space, creating a cohesive experience that showcased the best of forward thinking retail design.

Above the booth, a custom chandelier constructed from Rose Signware frames created a striking focal point while highlighting the flexibility and creativity possible with modular retail fixtures. Beneath it, a cozy seating nook invited guests to slow down, connect, and experience the environment firsthand.

To enhance engagement, we incorporated interactive digital retail technology with the help of our partners at Bluefin, Dise, and OpenEye. These digital elements added motion, storytelling, and interactivity throughout the booth, demonstrating how physical and digital retail engagement points can seamlessly work together.

We also included a fully functional bar for the event’s happy hour, transforming the booth into a welcoming social destination that encouraged networking and conversation throughout the show.

 

Retail Collaboration Creates Better Experiences

One of the most exciting aspects of this year’s booth was our collaboration with Opto International. While companies in the retail fixture industry are often viewed as competitors, this partnership demonstrated how teamwork can elevate the entire retail experience.

Instead of competing within the same space, each company contributed specialized expertise that strengthened the overall booth environment. Every partner had the opportunity to showcase its unique capabilities while supporting a unified vision.

The result was a dynamic booth that felt immersive, engaging, and authentic — exactly what today’s retail environments need to be.

The Future of Retail Design Is Better Together

Modern retail spaces must do more than simply display products. Today’s consumers expect environments that create experiences, encourage interaction, and build emotional connections. Achieving that level of engagement requires collaboration between fixture manufacturers, digital technology providers, designers, and retail strategists.
